Your loft bed design was the perfect answer for my girls. I found your site while looking for an inexpensive space saving solution for two girls sharing a small room. With a friends help we built them in one afternoon. Then the girls & I made some shelves with desk/makeup table space to go under them. They love them. We plan to paint & trim them to look a bit more feminine but the girls are thrilled with them already. For the first time they not only have room to play, but a bit of personal space. They both have big plans for decorating/personalizing "their own rooms" under the beds. Thanks for sharing your plans. I was looking for more space, but they seem to have gained something even more valuable for kids growing up in a small house.
